Learning is an internal factor but teaching is an external and complex ingredient of the education system. We are proud to be the second-largest education system in the world and to house the Gurukuls and IITs. The Right to Education Act, the steep hike in the number of universities from 20 in 1950 to 875 in 2017 and the range of courses offered have all played a dominant role in the education environment of India.
 
Opportunity: The Ministry of HRD has introduced SWAYAM to take quality learning to all. Nearly 2000 online courses are offered through this program and 150 million students across the globe are enrolled. The challenge in the education system arises out of cultural and linguistic diversity when the child feels excluded from his classroom.
